Here are some letter writing tips, which can be useful in your correspondence with Russian or Ukrainian lady.
Writing the first introductional letter might be some kind of a challenge, but it's the first and very important step on the way to your success. Make your letter interesting, if you want to get woman's attention. Tell her about yourself, the place you live, what you like to do for fun, and for job, your ambitions and aspirations. Stress that you are seriously looking for the partner for marriage and list the qualities which are important for you.
Make your story serious, but at the same time romantic and even funny. Sense of humor has been always appreciated.
Don't make your letter sound like an application for a job position, or CV. Try to describe things in such a way, that when she reads your message, she can almost feel, what you are describing.
Ask questions about her in your first letter. People like to know that others are interested in them. By asking her questions, she will think that you are very interested in her as a person and will promptly respond to you.
Please remember that your woman's native language is not English (German, French, etc). If she doesn't use a professional human translator, (unless she is not an interpreter herself:)) it will be difficult for her to understand some phrases. By keeping your letter simple, you will have a better communication with your lady. Don't use slang, or some complicated words.
Send her your best photo, you have. If you don't have a good quality one, consider having professional photo taken. Don't send photos with your mates, drinking in the pub, pictures of you with your arm around some girls, the photos with sunglasses or the one when her eyes have to strain to see you.
Don't send pictures of your houses, cars or boats with your first letter to her- it will look like you are trying to buy the woman.
Initially write to as many women as possible. Thus you increase your chances of success. The more attractive woman is, the more letters she will receive. So it's important to write as many as possible.
It may be useful to do some research on the country of origin, your woman is from. It will definitely impress her and may save you from making mistake. Always remember, that she is from different culture and obviously it's in your interest to know as much as possible about that culture.
Don't ask woman about her sexual priorities and dreams on the initial stage of your communication with her. Maybe it's ok to discuss on a later stage (but definitely not before seeing each other in real life) In Russia, Ukraine and other countries of former USSR, it's not common to open your heart and thoughts to a stranger and especially in letters, when you have never seen each other for real.
It's better to write women who will fit into your lifestyle, if only you are not going to change it. For instance, if you live in the country side, it's better to avoid writing to the ladies from big cities. Write to those from smaller towns and who enjoy nature, animals, gardening and other outdoor activities.
Don't delay your visit to see your lady personally. Letters can't substitute real communication and it's only on a basis of real communication you'll be able to make a decision for further marriage and future together.
Don't fall in love in letters, despite how beautiful and great they are, because they can be only the foundation of your friendship and the way to get to know each other only to some extent.
It's a common mistake, when a man and a woman create some particular images of each other during their correspondence and when they see some differences in reality, which they don't understand or like they become disappointed and frustrated. When you meet a woman, for the first time, be open minded, because letters never reflect everything. Please keel it in mind.
Do not send money to the women you've never met. Just like anywhere, there are honest and dishonest people. And unfortunately internet has become some kind of income source for dishonest ones. Please be aware that you may contact women, who will ask you for money for various reasons. If she asks you for money, proceed very cautiously. There are cases, where there can be a valid reason for sending money, however we don't recommend to send money to the person you've never met or don't know well.
Be patient and positive looking, this is an important process and the results of your decision will affect your life tremendously. Take the time to correspond with different women and even meeting them before committing yourself to that only one.
