How to avoid gold digger and not being scammed?
Unfortunately, there are various types of scams existing in the internet and people invent different tricks to get money from the foreign men, interested in finding Ukrainian or Russian wife.
However if you use common sense and be cautious to some extent, you won't get into the trap.
One of the most well-known types of scam, is when a girl, falls in love quickly and suggests to meet you in your country or any other country, except her own one. She loves you so much, that she is ready to jump on the plane and come to you, but there is a slight problem: she doesn't have money. She is so "nice, so sincere, so wonderful sweet girl" but she is poor.
Of course you are in love with your "beauty" and you are ready to do everything for her, to send her money for passport, visa and tickets, so she can come in your country. After she gets the money, you will probably never hear from her again, or sometimes she will invent another sob story, that her money has been stolen, or she is in the hospital in terrible condition and her doctor doesn't allow her to travel, etc, etc, etc. There might be different variants, but the result is the same: she will never arrive to you, and in most cases, your so called "beauty" even doesn't exist. Somebody has just found beautiful model pictures in the internet and uses them to scam you and other men for money.
In majority of cases, none of the ladies, can get the tourist or business visa to the USA, Australia, Canada or UK, because they don't have a proper income, good job to prove strong economical ties with Ukraine.
Only the Embassy can issue visas. If the girl tells that she knows a tourist agency, which can help with getting the visa to any of aforementioned countries, without any problem, it's a scam.
If you live in Europe, there is a slight possibility that your girl can get a Shengen visa, but only if you write an official invitation and she will need to go to the Embassy to apply for the visa.
However we don't recommend to arrange the first meeting with the lady outside her country. Coming into her native city, you'll see the woman in her natural environment, will be able to meet her family and (or) friends.
Besides, a genuine woman rarely would agree to meet a foreign man outside her country for safety reasons.
If you correspond with the girl through an agency, make sure that the agency is a legitimate business, which has a website and online system of payments. Ask for recommendations from the previous clients, read testimonials. If you have any questions, that needed to be answered, call to the agency.
One more advise: please don't correspond with your lady for a long time, come and meet her in real life. As real relations are much more important than thousands of letter exchange.
